Our Leaders

Josh Edwards is our new Artistic Director, succeeding our founder, Diane Haslam, who returned to her English homeland in 2020. Josh has a Bachelor of Music degree from Carson-Newman College in Tennessee and a master’s degree from Anderson University. He presently serves as Worship and Administrative Pastor at Hillview Baptist Church in Graniteville.  While he has had extensive choral directing experience at several churches, he has also applied his piano accompanying skills at the Fort Gordon Dinner Theater for the Augusta Players and other local musical productions.  “It is an honor and a privilege to be the next Artistic Director of the Aiken Singers. My desire is to build upon the solid foundation of singing already put in place. I’m looking forward to many wonderful seasons ahead.“

Pat Adams, pianist, began her piano teaching career when she was in high school. She graduated with a degree in Piano Pedagogy from Winthrop College where she enjoyed the opportunity to accompany the Winthrop Chorus. Mrs. Adams established and maintained the Pat Adams’ Piano Studio in Aiken for many years instructing numerous students. She has been a church musician for more than 40 years.
